During its E3 2019 presentation, Nintendo announced a title and a new release date for its Switch Animal Crossing game. Animal Crossing: New Horizons is coming next spring, signifying a delay out of 2019. While the presentation covered the basics, Nintendo revealed even more details in its post-show Treehouse presentation.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons will feature couch co-op, according to the company. You can share your Joy-Con controllers to play with a friend, letting you gather resources, do chores, and live in the Animal Crossing world together.

In this game you’re charged with helping to establish a town from a deserted island. As a result you start out in a tent, but with a little elbow grease you can make it into a bustling burg. Animal Crossing: New Horizons will launch on March 20, 2020.

Other revelations from the Nintendo Direct presentation included a Banjo-Kazooie joining Super Smash Bros, Luigi’s Mansion 3 gameplay details, and a sequel to Breath of the Wild.
