“Our sugar is yours, friend.”
The Elder Scrolls officially turns 25 this week, and Bethesda is celebrating in a big way with tons of discounts, some giveaways, and even free games from The Elder Scrolls series.
The anniversary festivities span the entire franchise. For starters, you can get an entirely free PC copy of The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind by logging into your Bethesda.net account and redeem code: TES25TH-MORROWIND. This offer is only available today, so if you’ve never experienced the adventure, check out the IGN Morrowind review, and then go grab it just because you can.
If you’re continuing to shuffle and battle through opponents in The Elder Scrolls Legends, Bethesda’s collectible card game that IGN called Amazing in the review, you can log in today and get a limited 25th Anniversary card back and three packs of cards. Additionally, there are new card bundles if you’re looking to save a bit of cash.
If you’re hankering for a reason to return to the snow-covered peaks of Skyrim, you can log into The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition to receive the Nordic Jewelry Creation to spruce up your Dragonborn.
Additionally, The Elder Scrolls Online will open up its MMORPG borders to play for free on all platforms starting March 28 thru April 3, and check out the prologue for the next chapter of ESO, Elsweyr, the homeland of the cat-like Khajiit.
And if you’re looking to grab a particular piece of The Elder Scrolls franchise that you haven’t yet jumped into, Bethesda has marked down a number of games by 50 percent, or close to it, for a limited time at the Bethesda store:
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition – $24, regularly $40
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR – $39 – regularly $60
- The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion GOTY Edition – $7.50, regularly $15
- The Elder Scrolls Online – $10, regularly $20
- The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset Upgrade – $12, regularly $20
Finally, if you’re really looking to represent your love for The Elder Scrolls, Bethesda has launched an Elder Scrolls 25th-anniversary merchandise line, including things like a beautiful lithograph of Tamriel, a ceramic stein, yes, even a cookbook, and more.
