The final event of Battlefield V’s Lightning Strikes update, Unstoppable Force, is now live on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and it brings back a fan-favorite Battlefield mode: Rush. The classic game type is now available to play on three maps, but it’ll only be around for a limited time.
From now until March 20, players can jump into Rush mode on Twisted Steel, Narvik, and Devastation. The mode has two teams of 16 vying to control sectors of the map; the attacking team is charged with planting explosives on two objectives, while the defending team must prevent that from happening.
The Unstoppable Force event also brings with it two Weekly Challenges, each of which is comprised of several different tasks. If you complete all of them, you’ll unlock the Mosquito FB Mk VI and Ju-88C planes. The first Weekly Challenge runs from March 7-14, while the second will be available from March 14-21. You can read more details about the tasks on the official Battlefield V website.
In addition to Rush mode, developer DICE has recently rolled out a new patch for Battlefield V on all platforms. This update is a fairly minor one, primarily resolving a few issues in the game and making other quality-of-life improvements. You can read the full patch notes here.
Battlefield V’s third chapter of live content updates, Trial by Fire, is set to kick off later this month. Among other things, it will introduce Battlefield V’s awaited battle royale mode, Firestorm, as well as a new Greece map and more.
