A new Fortnite patch is coming Wednesday, October 10, developer Epic Games has announced. It’s patch 6.02, and as of yet, there is no official word on what it’ll contain, but there are some clues.

What we do know is that Epic is bringing down Fortnite’s servers starting at 1 AM PT / 4 AM ET to introduce the update. Patch notes will be released at that time, so keep checking back with GameSpot for more.

The Fortnite news feed shows that a new weapon, the Quad Launcher, is coming soon. This gun lets you fire up to four rockets at a time in quick succession. This weapon will presumably arrive with the 6.02 update, but presumably there will be more additions and changes as well.

Another possibility is a new set of weekly challenges coming soon. Keep checking back with GameSpot for the latest.

In other Fortnite news, Epic partnered with Warner Bros. for a physical edition of Fortnite that includes various extras. Check out GameSpot’s coverage here to find out more.
