iPhones to the MAX.
An updated sitemap on Apple’s website seems to confirm rumors of the names of the new phones its announcing during its event later today.
First reported by ATH, the Apple site lists cases for the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR in the XML file associated with the site. Apple has since covered up the leak, redirecting the sitemap link to a “Be Right Back” page.
The sitemap also listed information on display sizes, colors, and storage options for the upcoming phones, ATH discovered. The iPhone XS comes with a 5.8-inch display, the XS Max with a 6.5-inch, and both versions of the XS come in 64, 256, and 512GB varieties in silver, black, or gold.
The iPhone XR comes with a 6.1-inch display in 64 or 256GB configurations and the sitemap lists “black, white, red, yellow, blue, and coral” as available colors, ATH reports.
The sitemap jibes with the multitude of iPhone rumors already swirling about the new models, but we won’t have official confirmation until 1 PM ET/10 AM PT today when Apple holds its official event.
Rumors suggest we’ll also hear about the Apple Watch, a possible new iPad, and news on Apple’s own wireless charging pad, the AirPower.
