The Marvel Studios 10th Anniversary Film Festival will run from August 30 – September 6.
Marvel Studios is celebrating 10 years of filmmaking with the Marvel Studios 10th Anniversary Film Festival which will see all 20 MCU films re-released in IMAX from August 30 – September 6.
Announced by Marvel & IMAX, this celebration of the MCU will kick off in the US and Canada with Iron Man on August 30.
Each of the first five days will have four movies throughout each day, as they were released, with Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, and Captain America: The First Avenger getting an IMAX screening for the first time.
On September 4, “Origins” will be the theme, with Iron Man, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Black Panther, and Doctor Strange being shown.
The following day, on September 5, “Team Ups” will be the focus, with the four films featured being Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Captain America: Civil War, The Original Avengers, and ending with Avengers: Infinity War.
To close out the film festival, fans will have the option to vote for their favorite films and two will be chosen to be shown on the final day, September 6. Voting is now open and is taking place on IMAX’s official Twitter account until August 17.
The MCU has brought in $13.5 billion worldwide since it began in 2008 with Iron Man. The most recent film, Antman and the Wasp, was released on July 6, 2018.
The next two films are Captain Marvel on March 8, 2019, and then Avengers 4 in April 2019 that will see the aftermath of the chaos caused in Avengers: Infinity War.
